Enhancing Safety with Smart Helmets for Coal Miners
Engineered an IoT-enabled protective safety helmet prototype designed to preserve worker lives in underground mining operations. Features integrated micro-sensors to detect hazardous toxic gas levels (carbon monoxide, methane), continuous heart rate and blood oxygen (SpO2) monitoring, automatic buzzer alerts if the helmet is removed, and an on-board LCD display for real-time telemetry.
