SIX PERSPECTIVES ON MY JOURNEY
My Story
My path into creative design began with a fascination for how visual messages influence perception. Transitioning from an earlier engineering curriculum in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) into Graphic Design and Media has provided me with a distinct analytical framework—grounding creative experimentation in systematic problem-solving and technical precision.
Why I Love Design
Design provides a tangible medium to give form to abstract thoughts. It is both an aesthetic art form and a functional language. I am captivated by the moment an idea transforms from an uncertain rough sketch into a balanced, rhythmic typographic composition or moving image.
What Inspires Me
I draw inspiration from architectural brutalism, Swiss International typographic systems, geometric abstractions, cinematic light studies, and electronic music waveforms. Examining everyday signage, packaging, and digital interfaces reveals how deliberate spatial decisions craft an emotional atmosphere.
What I Am Learning
Through coursework at PSB Academy in Singapore, I am actively refining foundational design principles: grid hierarchy, color theory, typographic rhythm, and print pre-press, alongside digital disciplines including vector illustration, After Effects motion curves, and Blender 3D modeling.
My Creative Direction
I gravitate toward dark, cinematic, and high-contrast aesthetics paired with electric blues and cybernetic hues. I appreciate work that balances structured editorial layouts with dynamic kinetic energy—designs that feel contemporary, experimental, and thoughtfully executed.
My Future Goals
My objective is to graduate equipped with a comprehensive, award-caliber body of work, ready to contribute to progressive creative studios, motion design houses, or digital agencies. I aim to continue bridging the space between static graphic communication and dynamic interactive media.
TIMELINE & MILESTONES
PSB Academy, Singapore — Diploma in Graphic Design & Media
Active study developing brand identity systems, editorial typography, motion graphics, and 3D digital media. Expected completion: March 2027.
Academic Engineering Project — Smart Helmet Safety System
Prototyped IoT miner safety helmet with toxic gas detection, vital signs monitoring, and LCD alerts at Geethanjali College of Engineering and Technology.
GS MUN — Photography Department Participation
Documented Model United Nations events, applying composition, lighting, and visual capture principles.
